Today’s a special celebration!
John Jantsch does a nice job on his blog explaining viral videos (I even made a comment in which I offer some of my own opinion as to the elements that make great viral marketing stuff . . .feel free to add to it over at John’s blog). You can also go to our site’s FREE REPORT page and download another helpful resource on viral marketing. Viral marketing are those images or videos that get passed around through emails, blogs, Facebook messages, Twitter, etc…and millions of people watch it. For examples and a good post from a while back, go here.Speaking of millions, John McCain gets a rebuttal from Paris (and she’s nabbing 1.8 million hits already at the time of this writing).
While not as many hits as Paris (yet), I’m a bigger fan of these guys! Talk about funny!
You got any good viral stuff worth sharing?
-Randy
Wow! I’ve been working hard just to get at least a hundred hits a day. Did practically everything I see on the net to promote my site. Haven’t found what works for me yet. Viral Marketing is new to me. I’ll try it I guess. Have you heard about Glyphius? Has anybody tried it yet? I heard great stuff about in the internet. Can a software really make these things easier for us? Any suggestions? Looks like you guys are veterans. Tnx!
Donald,
Thanks for stopping by. I have heard similar reviews of Glyphius but I don’t use it myself. I would love to hear if anyone else uses it or has an opinion.
Persevere!

Some of the best “viral” campaigns have been complete accidents. But as David Meerman Scott said on his call with John Jantsch, you have to do more than one before the one sticks!!
Hi! I meant to say congratulations last week on your 100th blog post! I’m now over 30 with 9 whole comments – woo hoo! I’ll be honest, I still don’t understand “viral.” I’m still struggling with how to get my blog noticed…and I think I’m doing the right things. I’m publishing my first edition of my online free subscription newsletter and using iContact…which I joined because of you guys! Thanks for all the good “stuff” you share. – Linda
